Clue Mobile Adds 2016 Suspects List

Marmalade Game Studio has launched the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital version of Clue (known as Cluedo internationally). Murder-mystery enthusiasts will be thrilled to revisit these classic characters in their favorite deduction game.

Meet the Returning Classic Characters

The pack features six iconic suspects: Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. This character-focused DLC isn't restricted to specific crime scenes, letting players insert their favorite suspects into any game scenario.

Players can freely choose their most beloved characters from the 2016 version and even mix them with the newer 2023 cast. This addition comes as delightful fan service, particularly following some criticisms that the 2023 characters felt overly contemporary.

Bonus Classic Game Mode Included

Alongside the character pack, Marmalade introduces a special Retro Rules Set mode that recreates the authentic 1949 gameplay experience - completely free of charge.

This nostalgic mode features traditional mechanics including:

• Fixed starting positions for all tokens
• Miss Scarlet always moves first (or Colonel Mustard if she's not in play)
• Room-specific accusation requirements
• Removal of Clue Cards
• Movement restrictions preventing players from passing through occupied spaces
