Discover Spider-Woman's Origin in MCoC Update

April in Marvel Contest of Champions is packed with thrilling new content, headlined by the arrival of the new champion, Spider-Woman. Alongside her, Kabam is introducing another champion whose energy and style are a world apart.

Spider-Woman's Origin Story in Marvel Contest of Champions

Spider-Woman's journey began as Jessica Drew. As a child, she fell gravely ill from prolonged uranium exposure near her home. Her father, a brilliant geneticist, attempted a radical cure, injecting her with a serum derived from spider DNA.

After years of recovery, she overcame the experiment’s severe side effects. The process ultimately granted her incredible spider-like abilities, leading her to become the hero known as Spider-Woman. You can recruit this new champion in MCOC starting April 17.

But before Spider-Woman swings into the fray, another champion will make their debut. Lumatrix arrives on April 9th, one of the most lethal assassins ever engineered by the Founders. Designed for covert infiltration and elimination, Lumatrix wields dazzling light-based powers.

What Other New Content Can You Expect?

The story continues with Act 9, Chapter 2: Inquisition. Carina is severely injured after a clash with Ouroborus forces, while Doctor Doom forms an unlikely alliance with the Fantastic Four. The corruption of the Chronoserpent is spreading unchecked, and a new villain, Lotan, has emerged.

A new Event Quest, "Spy Games," begins on April 9 and runs through May 7. Black Widow is investigating the enigmatic Eidols and has enlisted Spider-Woman's help to unravel the mystery.

Dark Phoenix also returns in the Side Quest, "Dark Bounties." She has placed bounties on several Champions—track them down to claim your rewards.

The "Incursions: Dark Phoenix Saga" sector makes a comeback. Assemble your most powerful Saga champions to battle through for Dark Plumes, Light Essence, Tier 7 Basic Fragments, and 7-Star Class Signature Stones.
