Infinity Nikki's Phenomenal First Month: $16 Million in Mobile Revenue
Infinity Nikki, the latest installment in the popular Nikki series, has shattered expectations, generating nearly $16 million in mobile game revenue within its first month. This surpasses previous Nikki titles by a staggering 40 times, demonstrating the game's immense popularity.
The game's success is largely attributed to its strong performance in China, where it garnered over 5 million downloads, accounting for over 42% of its total downloads. This impressive launch saw Infinity Nikki earn $3.51 million in its first week alone, followed by $4.26 million and $3.84 million in the subsequent weeks. While weekly revenue did decrease to $1.66 million by the fifth week, the cumulative total still reached a remarkable $16 million.
Launched in December 2024 by Infold Games (Papergames in China), Infinity Nikki transports players to the captivating world of Miraland. Players guide Nikki and her cat, Momo, through diverse nations, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges using magically-powered outfits fueled by Whimstars. The game's engaging gameplay, coupled with its charming aesthetic, clearly resonated with players. This success follows a strong pre-registration period of 30 million. Note that these figures only reflect mobile platform earnings, excluding revenue from the PC and PlayStation 5 versions.
Daily revenue, while initially exceeding $1.1 million on launch day, experienced fluctuations. A dip to $141,000 on December 26th was followed by a significant rebound to $665,000 on December 30th after the Version 1.1 update, highlighting the impact of content updates.
Infinity Nikki is available for free on iOS, Android, PC, and PlayStation 5. The developers plan to sustain this success through regular updates and seasonal events, ensuring continued player engagement.
