While you're likely familiar with the Pocket Gamer Awards, you might not know that our sister site, PocketGamer.biz also hosts a major event celebrating the very best in mobile gaming—the annual PG Mobile Games Awards. This prestigious event shines a spotlight on excellence across the industry, honoring everything from development tools and support agencies to service providers and innovation in mobile gaming technology.

But here’s where you come in. Among the 23 award categories, one stands out as truly community-driven: the PG People's Choice Award. That’s right—this one is decided entirely by passionate mobile gamers like you. While the other categories focus on behind-the-scenes industry achievements, this award celebrates the standout mobile game release of the past year, as chosen by the players who know it best.

Nominations are now open
Public voting will run from June 30th to July 31st—but before that can begin, we need your nominations. From now until midnight on June 27th, you’re invited to submit your favorite mobile game released within the last year. Whether it’s a standout mobile-exclusive title, a stellar port, or a cross-play experience that impressed across devices, this is your chance to get it recognized.

After nominations close, we’ll finalize the shortlist and prepare for the public vote. Once voting ends on July 31st, the results will be kept under wraps until the official announcement at a glamorous awards ceremony in Cologne on Tuesday, August 19th. Can’t make it to the event? Don’t worry—we’ll reveal the winners across our platforms, so everyone gets to celebrate the results.

The past year has been an exciting time for mobile gaming, packed with high-quality releases, innovative gameplay, and seamless cross-platform experiences. With so many exceptional titles, we’re glad the decision isn’t ours to make—your voice matters most. So go ahead, nominate your favorite game and help shape the future of mobile gaming recognition.
