Sources indicate Ice Burn would decelerate the capture circle's movement temporarily, facilitating Excellent throws. Conversely, Freeze Shock would immobilize wild Pokemon, preventing attacks or evasive movements during capture attempts. Both effects promise to streamline encounters with particularly elusive creatures.
