Pokémon GO is launching its exciting journey toward the global GO Fest 2025 with a host of new content. The game is introducing three new themed events and bringing back legendary titans, as well as several Gigantamax Pokémon.
What Events Are Featured in Pokémon GO Global Go Fest 2025?
First up is the Serene Retreat event. It runs from May 30th to June 3rd, 2025. During this time, you can encounter Pokémon such as Chansey, Marill, Furfrou, Cutiefly, Morelull, Komala, and Hatenna. There's also a chance to find a shiny Snorlax or Chimecho.
Gigantamax Rillaboom will appear in six-star Max Battles from May 31st to June 1st, 2025. This marks its debut appearance in Pokémon GO.
Meanwhile, the Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global event takes place on June 28th and 29th. This worldwide celebration brings together millions of trainers, and it's completely free to participate from any location. Watch the official reveal here.
Purchasing a ticket for Pokémon GO Fest 2025 Global provides access to exclusive bonuses, including an encounter with the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion. This is its global debut after previous appearances in Osaka, Jersey City, and Paris.
But before that, there's another major event scheduled!
The Ancients Recovered event runs from June 23rd to June 27th, 2025. This event reintroduces the Legendary Titans and their elemental counterparts. Each day showcases a new five-star raid boss, with a special Raid Hour from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. local time on that day.
On June 23rd, face Regirock, Regice, and Registeel; June 24th features Regieleki; June 25th brings Regidrago; June 26th includes Regigigas; and on June 27th, all five return for a final raid day.
Legendary Pokémon caught during this event will know exclusive moves. Regirock learns Earthquake, Regice knows Thunder, Registeel gets Zap Cannon, and Regieleki unlocks Thunder Cage. Regidrago will have both Dragon Breath and Dragon Energy, while Regigigas comes with Crush Grip.
Additionally, six-star Max Battles during Ancients Recovered will feature not only Rillaboom, but also Gigantamax Cinderace and Inteleon. Download the game from the Google Play Store to join these events.
