Red Dead Redemption is available now on iOS and Android Explore Rockstar's definitive vision of the Old West's final days Ride, shoot, fight, and reunite with your former gang
A few years ago, claiming you could play Red Dead Redemption on a mobile device would have earned you strange looks. Today, that dream is a reality, allowing you to step into the wild west world of New Austin and beyond on iOS and Android.
As ex-bandit turned bounty hunter John Marston, you will explore the twilight of the frontier in a mission to track down your former companions. To succeed, you must blast through various enemies in classic Rockstar style.
Red Dead Redemption needs little introduction. It was the title that made cowboys cool again, and arguably stands even stronger than its sequel. Now, you can experience the complete game for a price of $39.99.

Dead-eyed
Yes, you read that correctly. The price is steep, matching the cost on console and PC. However, for many fans, this is a fair trade, and I believe it is justified since you get the full Red Dead Redemption experience, including Undead Nightmare (my choice for the best DLC ever).
Is this a sign of things to come? A long-awaited debut? I would say yes to both. But enough talk—if you want to experience the thrill of riding the range and firing your six-gun, now is the perfect time.
Red Dead Redemption is not the only mobile port we have been watching this year. If there are other titles you wish to support, consider voting in the 12th annual Pocket Gamer Awards.
