The ESRB rating confirms players can experience Hyrule's adventure through both Zelda and Link in this groundbreaking installment. Rated E10+, the game contains no microtransactions while offering distinct combat styles for each character.

"Players primarily control Zelda as she closes mystical rifts to rescue Link," the official description states. "Link battles with traditional weapons while Zelda commands magical summons like knights and elemental creatures. Combat includes fiery attacks and spectral dissolution effects."

This represents a historic shift for the franchise, marking Zelda's first solo protagonist role in the core series. Since its announcement, Echoes of Wisdom has dominated wishlists following summer gaming showcases.

Currently, the duration and nature of Link's playable segments remain undisclosed. The adventure begins September 26, 2024.
