The Guardians of the Road initiative is back with a new app, offering a streamlined and enhanced user experience.

Join the Road Guard project and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to raise awareness and encourage safer, more careful driving. Since January 1, 2023, the "Safe Path" association has been managing the project.

Any citizen aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" app and begin documenting traffic violations.

Using the app is simple and quick: activate it before you start driving. If you witness a traffic offense, trigger the reporting feature either by voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then start recording the incident.

All documented reports are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer traffic experts. After review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the documented driver, including a link to the video evidence. In cases of serious, life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded to the police for further action.
