ArtClash was created to help people develop a daily habit of drawing, sketching, and cartooning.

This application is still evolving, with the first game mode complete and more content on the way.

Enjoy freeform drawing or select from various topics and series. Apply optional constraints like time limits, color restrictions, or canvas dimensions to earn points when others correctly identify your creation!

This solo passion project began as a way for my wife and me to practice daily, while inspiring others to do the same.

Current features:

• Painting Tools - Sketch, Paint, and Blend colors

• Import reference images or paint directly over them

• Select topics and constraints, create your artwork, and earn points for correct guesses

• Six difficulty levels ranging from single words to complex phrases with up to five elements

• Three constraint options for bonus points: time limits, color palettes, or canvas dimensions

• Unlimited free drawing with sharing capabilities

• NSFW filtering for user-generated content

Current early access limitations:

• Basic interface: Working to replace Unity UI with responsive XAML implementation

• Recommended canvas size under 1024x1024 on less powerful devices. GPU-accelerated brushes may slow with large canvases. Performance optimization and engine comparison testing underway.

Planned enhancements:

• Additional game modes starting with drawing "telephone"

• Expanded social features including avatar customization, comments, and user connections

• Refined interface and optimized brush performance

• Selection and transformation tools

• Expanded brush library with custom brush support

• Advanced layer management with transparency locking and masking

• Developer communication platform for feature requests and bug reporting

• Community moderation system

• User-submitted topics and constraints after moderation

• Future expansion to include comprehensive image editing, animation, scripting, and prototyping tools

While not yet a complete image editing suite due to current performance considerations and feature development, ArtClash excels at fostering creative competition and artistic motivation.
