ARK: Survival Ascended's Extended Content Roadmap Unveiled

Studio Wildcard has released an updated content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, detailing updates extending into late 2026. This Unreal Engine 5 remaster of ARK: Survival Evolved, initially released in early access in November 2023, will receive a steady stream of new content and improvements.

Key highlights of the roadmap include:

• Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This significant update will bring substantial performance enhancements and reinstate Nvidia's frame generation. It also paves the way for individually downloadable DLC packs, reducing the overall game size.

• New Maps and Creatures: The roadmap outlines the addition of several new maps, including a premium map in June 2025 and free remastered versions of Ragnarok, Valguero, Genesis (Parts 1 & 2), and Fjordur throughout 2025 and 2026. These map releases will also introduce several "Fantastic Tames" and community-voted free creatures, such as the Bison in April 2025.

• Bob's True Tales Integration: Parts 1 and 2 of Bob's True Tales, previously announced as part of the season pass, will be integrated alongside the Genesis Ascended releases in April and August 2026, respectively.
