The White Wolf returns for his final chapter. Production on The Witcher Season 5 is now in progress, and new images have emerged online featuring Liam Hemsworth as the lead, Geralt of Rivia, alongside other new and returning cast members.
The apparent set photos—available on the fan site Redanian Intelligence—show The Hunger Games actor in full costume with Geralt's iconic long blonde hair. They also feature longtime characters like Meng’er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Henry Cavill originally led the story. Hemsworth was confirmed to take over the role from Cavill for Seasons 4 and the fifth and final season back in October 2022.

Additionally, set images reveal new characters introduced in Season 4 who will also appear in the final season, including legendary actor Laurence Fishburne as Emiel Regis.
These leaked photos suggest Season 5 may draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's novel *The Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who direct him toward druids. However, with Season 4 still unreleased, the story's direction remains wide open—and there's much ground to cover before fans can fully piece together the clues from this footage.
Cavill isn't the only departure leading to a recast. Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's father figure and mentor Vesemir, will not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has not yet announced a replacement for Bodnia, nor has it set an official release date for Season 4.
