- Arknights: Endfield led the charge at Gamescom alongside other major gaming franchises
- The latest gameplay trailer revealed new base-building mechanics and dynamic ARPG combat
- Arknights also made a significant offline impact with its dedicated booth and interactive activities
What's this? Even more Gamescom coverage? You better believe it. Unsurprisingly, that hefty $500k+ trailer investment means only the most anticipated releases are making a splash. Naturally, Yostar is leading the charge with a new Arknights: Endfield trailer that showcases intriguing new gameplay, including expansive base-building features.
Longtime fans are likely already familiar with the fresh innovations Arknights: Endfield brings to Yostar's growing series, but the Gamescom trailer offers an even clearer look at one of its key components. Base building emerges as a major new element here, allowing players to establish factory production lines alongside the classic tower defense mechanics.
Of course, there's also plenty of 3D ARPG action, marking another significant evolution for the Arknights franchise. Similar to what we saw earlier with Honor of Kings: World, the trailer dedicates substantial time to highlighting flashy visual effects and vibrant, fast-paced combat sequences.

Knighthood
With its sophisticated sci-fi aesthetic and already compelling gameplay, Arknights has carved out its own success story. But Arknights: Endfield might emerge as a dark horse contender in the ARPG landscape, particularly through its blend of modern 3D action with the classic tower defense and base-building elements from the original game.
The best part? If you're fortunate enough to attend Gamescom this year, you'll find Arknights: Endfield making several offline appearances. Make sure to visit Hall 8.1, Booth B021 for interactive activities, cosplayers, and plenty of exclusive merchandise to collect.
But if you're interested in keeping up with the more unusual releases that won't be taking the main stage at Gamescom, we've got you covered too.
