- Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile removed from App Store and Google Play
- Online servers remain temporarily active
- Players can transfer unused COD Points to COD: Mobile
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is shutting down less than a year after launch. Activision has announced the mobile battle royale will no longer receive seasonal updates or new content, with removal from app stores effective May 18th. In-game purchases with real money have been disabled, and new players can't download the game after the cutoff date.
This abrupt closure marks the end of Activision's ambitious attempt to bring the full Warzone experience to mobile devices. While developers succeeded in faithfully replicating the game for handheld platforms, it failed to achieve the same popularity as its PC and console counterparts.
Existing players can continue accessing the game online after May 19th. Matchmaking services will remain operational temporarily, though social features have been disabled. While the in-game store stays open for players with existing COD Points, no new purchases are possible.

Players with remaining COD Points can transfer them to Call of Duty: Mobile until August 15th. By linking their Activision account, users will receive double the value of their unused points plus bonus rewards in COD: Mobile.
May 19th serves as the final deadline for installations. After this date, no refunds will be available and the game becomes permanently inaccessible. This disappointing conclusion highlights the challenges even major franchises face when transitioning to mobile platforms.
