After you've completed the main quest in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the world remains open for you to explore. The game features a vast open world set in Feudal Japan, brimming with side content that remains accessible even after you've finished the main storyline. You're free to delve deeper into the rich environment, uncovering all the hidden secrets and side quests at your leisure.

Moreover, Ubisoft plans to introduce new weekly challenges through the Animus post-launch, ensuring that there's always something new to do, even after achieving 100% completion.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Epilogue and Endgame Explained

Rolling credits doesn't mean the end of your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In my playthrough, the credits rolled after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, to unlock the epilogue and experience the true ending, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko to unlock the complete ending and earn the associated achievements.

Additionally, near the game's conclusion, you can acquire exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke. These armor sets not only enhance each protagonist's unique playstyle with special perks but also feature designs that resonate deeply with long-time Assassin’s Creed fans.

As for endgame content, you can continue to level up your characters to the game's maximum level cap even after the credits roll.

Although the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, the game will continue to evolve.
