The developers of Zenless Zone Zero have introduced an exciting new narrative twist that delves into the intriguing past of Astra Yao, a beloved character known for her roles as a singer and on-air support. In a newly released animated short, fans get a glimpse into Astra Yao's history as she participates in a benefit concert aimed at commemorating a significant cavernous disaster. The story takes a dramatic turn after a brief, uncomfortable exchange with a journalist, shifting focus to the past events that have shaped her journey.

Astra Yao takes center stage in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update, while fans can also look forward to spinning for Evelyn Chevalier in the second banner. The 1.5 update, now available, brings with it the traditional generosity of miHoYo (HoYoverse), rewarding players with 300 polychromes for bug fixes and an additional 300 for technical enhancements related to the ZZZ 1.5 update. These rewards are delivered directly to players' in-game mail.
