Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

Author: Finn May 04,2025

After months of swirling rumors and leaks, it seems Bethesda is on the brink of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is set for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent X (formerly Twitter) post, Bethesda teased the event with a striking image featuring a prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, hinting strongly at the subject of the announcement.

The buzz around an Oblivion remake has been building for years, fueled by leaks and rumors. Initial whispers of a remaster surfaced in 2020 from a leaked Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial, suggesting a release in fiscal year 2022. Although that window has passed, more recent leaks in January of this year pointed to a full-scale remake developed in collaboration with Virtuos. Last week's leaks from Virtuos' website, which included in-game images, have further solidified these expectations.

If the latest leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Additionally, a Deluxe Edition is rumored to be in the works, featuring the iconic horse armor alongside the standard version.

Don't miss out on the official reveal tomorrow, where Bethesda is expected to confirm these details and share more about what fans can look forward to in this highly anticipated remake.
