Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remaster Tomorrow

After months of swirling rumors and leaks, it appears that Bethesda is poised to officially unveil its much-anticipated remaster of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST and will be streamed live on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Bethesda shared an image featuring a prominent "IV" and a background reminiscent of iconic Oblivion artwork, hinting strongly at what fans can expect. This follows a long trail of speculation, starting with a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule from the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which indicated an Oblivion remaster was slated for fiscal year 2022. Although that window has passed, suggesting the project might have been canceled, more recent leaks in January of this year described it as a comprehensive remake, developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos. The latest leaks, just last week from Virtuos' website, included visuals of the remake in progress, further fueling anticipation.

If these recent leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. A Deluxe Edition, complete with the infamous horse armor, is expected to be offered alongside the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow to catch the official confirmation and learn more about this exciting development.
