Fortnite's Godzilla Collaboration: Leaked Details and Hatsune Miku's Potential Arrival
While the January 17th release of Godzilla in Fortnite has been anticipated, recent leaks have unveiled the full extent of the Monsterverse partnership. Epic Games' pre-release update has allowed dataminers to uncover exciting additions. Beyond the standard Godzilla battle pass skin, players can expect a store bundle featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong, complete with unique jetpacks and character-specific pickaxes.
A new boss event will also launch on January 17th, transforming one lucky player into a giant Godzilla, unleashing atomic breath and other iconic abilities. Players will need to collaborate to defeat this colossal foe, with the highest damage-dealer receiving a special medallion granting a unique in-game advantage.
The Mechagodzilla and Kong bundle will be available at the usual Fortnite store times and will include:
- Kong: 1500 V-bucks
- Mechagodzilla: 1800 V-bucks
- Two Pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
- One Emote: 400 V-bucks
- Two Wraps: 500 V-bucks each
- Complete Bundle: 2800 V-bucks
Adding to the excitement, Fortnite's ongoing collaborations hint at the possible arrival of Hatsune Miku. Intriguing social media interactions between the official Hatsune Miku account (reporting a missing backpack) and the Fortnite Festival account (confirming possession of the backpack) have fueled speculation. This suggests a potential collaboration including a standard Vocaloid skin, a "Miku the Catgirl" variant, a stylized pickaxe, and even a virtual Hatsune Miku concert.
