The Emergence mission in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 marks the campaign's halfway point and is a significant departure from typical gameplay. This guide provides a complete walkthrough.

Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility

The mission begins with Case and Marshall entering a toxic-gas-filled Kentucky BioTech facility. An elevator malfunction leads to a gas mask breakage and subsequent hallucinations. After the cutscene, locate a red-lit locked door. Use a hatchet found on a mannequin to break it open. Proceed through the hallway, up the stairs, and to the central elevator.

Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (hallucination-induced). Eliminate the zombies with your hatchet. A phone call at the circular desk directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map to the Yellow card.

Acquiring the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook

Follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle in the Director's office (answers: "Access" and "Lift"). In the A.C.R. room, defeat more zombies. A mannequin holding the Yellow card will transform into an abomination. Before engaging, collect armor, weapons, and the crucial grappling hook.

Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to eliminate the abomination and its zombie horde. Retrieve the Yellow card from its remains.

Obtaining the Green Card

Use the grappling hook to return to the main facility. Locate the Administration Facility by grappling from the security desk. Answer the ringing phone. Find and place four documents in the file display area to trigger a red mannequin encounter.

Document locations: desk corner, left side near round table, small center table, and cafe near sink. Use the grappling hook to subdue and eliminate the resulting Mangler Zombie, obtaining the Green card.

Securing the Blue Card

Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone, then locate the glass chamber with camera stands. The Blue card interaction spawns a Mimic. Shoot moving objects to lure it out and eliminate it to claim the Blue card.

Retrieving the Red Card

Head to the East Wing, following the red carpets to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, climb the ladders, and eliminate zombies. Unlock the door using the blacklight code, then activate the console to drain the water within 25 seconds.

After draining the water, pursue the Mangler, defeat it and its horde to obtain the Red card.

Confronting the Disciple

Insert all four cards into the security desk system. Ride the elevator, eliminating any pursuing zombies. Answer the red phone in the BioTech room, engaging and defeating the Disciple and zombie horde. The mission concludes with a hallucination reveal.
