Castle Doombad is back with a vengeance, now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay. Developed by the acclaimed Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1 on mobile, this tower defense strategy game originally debuted in 2014. Grumpyface Studios, known for successful titles like Steven Universe: Attack the Light, Unleash the Light, and Teeny Titans, initially planned a remake of Castle Doombad but decided to split it into two versions: Free to Slay for mobile and Classic for PC and Nintendo Switch.
Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered edition of the 2014 original with enhanced content and features, is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. Additionally, a sequel titled Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha! is currently in development, promising more evil fun.
