Clash of Clans is about to undergo a massive transformation: troop training times are being completely eliminated! Get ready for near-instant army deployment and lightning-fast battles. However, this means it's now or never for your Training Potions and Treats—use them before they're gone! These will be removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards, though they'll remain available (for now) in the Trader and Gold Pass. Unclaimed potions and treats will be converted to Gems at the end of the month.
While Clash of Clans remains a beloved mobile gaming classic, its age is showing in certain areas. Supercell, recognizing this, has been steadily modernizing the game. This latest update, removing troop, spell, and siege unit training times, is perhaps the most significant change yet. Following the removal of training costs in 2022, training times are the next casualty.
This change means that Training Potions and Treats are being removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards. You can still obtain them from the Trader and Gold Pass for a limited time, but it's crucial to use them before they are converted into Gems at the month's end.
Match Anytime
To complement this update, Supercell is introducing "Match Anytime," a new feature allowing attacks on a snapshot of another player's base when no real-time opponents are available. This ensures continuous gameplay and rewards, without impacting the attacked player's resources. This mechanic already exists in Clan Wars and Legend League, but now it will become standard practice.
Other changes are also on the horizon, including the introduction of Elixir or Dark Elixir costs for army donations. For a comprehensive overview of all updates, refer to the official Supercell blog.
