Complete Hollow Era Hollow Guide – Full Progression

Right from the Bleach universe, the Hollow Era Roblox megahit lets you play as either a Shinigami (Soul Reaper) or a Hollow (Arrancar/Espada). This guide focuses on the Hollow path, offering a complete progression walkthrough.

Becoming a Hollow in Hollow Era

You begin as a Soul Spirit. Choose to become a Shinigami or a Hollow. To become a Hollow, break all the links on your chain. Your chain breaks a link every two minutes, so even inactivity will eventually lead to Hollow transformation.

Warning: Playing as a Hollow is significantly more grindy than playing as a Shinigami. While Hollows are visually cooler, reaching Vasto Lorde or Espada requires substantial time investment and repetitive tasks.

Hollow Progression in Hollow Era

Evolve into a Gillian by grinding and consuming other Hollows. Reach level 15 to become a Gillian. At level 10, access the Hueco Mundo dimension via a Garganta for easier Hollow hunting.

Remember, Hollows are attacked by both Shinigami and other Hollows, unlike Soul Reapers. (See our separate Shinigami progression guide for details.)

Gillian Form in Hollow Era

As a Gillian, eliminate Hollows and interact with Hollow Pillars in Hueco Mundo. Collect enough Progression Points to be teleported to your inner world and defeat five Hollows three times to evolve into an Adjucha.

Inner world Hollows are much stronger than regular ones. Death is not a setback; you can repeat this task.

Adjucha Form in Hollow Era

From Adjucha, choose the Vasto Lorde or Arrancar path.

Arrancar Progression

Interact with a Crystal Bush (spawning every 30-60 minutes in Hueco Mundo) to become an Arrancar. Use a keybind for Hueco Mundo transport. (See the list of Arrancar Resurrecciones in Hollow Era).

At level 50, pursue your Resurrección (more on this later). Currently, Arrancars only use Kendo skills.

Vasto Lorde Progression

To become a Vasto Lorde, continue eliminating and consuming Hollows for Progression Points. Death results in a 1% loss of Progression Points. 800 Progression Points are needed.

Hollow: 1 Point Gillian: 6 Points Adjucha: 4 Points Vasto Lorde: 8 Points Arrancar: 8 Points Espada: 10 Points

Vasto Lorde Form in Hollow Era

Becoming a Vasto Lorde requires 800 Progression Points and all Hollow Items (random drop chance). Here's a list of Hollow Items and their sources:

• Hollows: Back Fins (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 HP regeneration), Fin Tail (Legendary, 1% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu regeneration and +1 Speed)
• Gillian: Back Spikes (Rare, 10% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)
• Adjucha: Tail (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Speed), Single Horn (Uncommon, 25% drop chance, +1 Strength), Double Horn (Rare, 10% drop chance, +2 Strength), Triple Horn (Epic, 5%, +3 Strength)
• Vasto Lorde: Spiral Horn (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)

Becoming Espada in Hollow Era

From Vasto Lorde, interact with a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo to become an Espada. Disable Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field in your options for easier spotting.

How to Get Your Resurrección

Reach level 50, then talk to Isen (King of Hueco Mundo) in Hueco Mundo. Defeat 50 Arrancars to unlock your Resurrección. Activate it with a full, pulsating Rage Bar (filled by dealing or receiving damage). The default keybind is "Y," and it deactivates upon running out of Reiatsu or Rage.

Hollow Skill Tree

• Hollow Strength Node: Increases damage with fists and strength moves. (Claw Slash, Rock Throw, Hollow Slam)
• Hollow Reiatsu Node: Increases maximum Reiatsu and damage with Hollow powers. (Acid Spit, Acid Grab, Acid Slam)
• Hollow Vitality Node: Increases maximum health.

Gillian Skill Tree

• Gillian Strength Node: Increases damage with fists and strength moves. (Gillian Stomp, Gillian Roar)
• Gillian Reiatsu Node: Increases maximum Reiatsu and damage with Gillian powers. (Gillian Cero, Cero Burst)
• Gillian Vitality Node: Increases maximum health.

Adjucha Skill Tree

• Adjucha Strength Node: Increases damage with fists and strength moves. (Claw Slash, Rock Throw, Hollow Slam, Adjucha Slam, Rampage)
• Adjucha Reiatsu Node: Increases maximum Reiatsu and damage with Adjucha powers. (Acid Spit, Acid Grab, Acid Slam, Devastating Scream, Cero)

Vasto Lorde Skill Tree

• Vasto Lorde Reiatsu Node: Increases damage with Vasto Lorde powers. (Devastating Scream, Bala, Stronger Cast, Cero, Stronger Beam, Final Cero, Gran Ray Cero)

Arrancar Skill Tree

• Arrancar Node: Increases damage with Arrancar powers.
• Reiatsu: Increases maximum Reiatsu. (Devastating Scream, Bala, Ragdoll, Stronger Cast, Caja Negacion, Faster Projectile, Cero, Stronger Beam)

Espada Skill Tree

• Espada Node: Increases damage with Arrancar powers.
• Reiatsu: Increases maximum Reiatsu. (Caja Negacion, Faster Projectile, Cero, Stronger Beam, Final Cero, Bala Barrage, Gran Ray Cero)

Hollow Era Tips and Tricks

Playing as a Hollow is less versatile than Shinigami. Expect significant grinding and attacks from both Hollows and Shinigami. Use the lock-on button to manage combat. Invest in blocking and the bus teleport. Prioritize Strength and Speed skill points early on. Use "J" (default) to reveal markers with Reiatsu sense.
