"Dark Phoenix Saga Launches in Marvel Contest of Champions with Jean Grey, Bastion, and New Eidol"

Kabam is set to enhance Marvel Contest of Champions with exciting updates that include the launch of the Dark Phoenix Saga, the introduction of new Champions, and the unveiling of a unique character type called Eidols. This month also spotlights the powerful women within the game, offering players the chance to influence which Champion will undergo a rework in 2025.

Jean Grey and Bastion are the newest Champions joining The Contest, each bringing their unique powers and a compelling new narrative. Jean Grey will be available starting March 13th, followed by Bastion on March 27th. The Dark Phoenix Saga begins on March 3rd, introducing an epic quest where Jean Grey and the X-Men confront dangerous variants.

Further enriching the game's lore, the storyline involving The Founders continues with the introduction of more Eidols. The first Eidol, Isophyne, was introduced in December 2024. In 2025, three additional Eidols will be added, each with a unique sourcing system. Lumatrix, the latest Eidol, will be introduced on March 5th and remain available until June 4th.

Lumatrix, created by The Founders, serves as a master infiltrator with skills in spying, sabotage, and assassination, all executed with unmatched precision. Made from ISO-8 crystals, Lumatrix can manipulate light, presenting a dazzling facade that belies its lethal nature, designed to eliminate threats discreetly.

To celebrate the powerful women of The Contest, Kabam has collaborated with seven female developers and content creators, each representing a different Champion. Players can participate in Solo Objectives and Realm Events to vote on which Champion will receive a rework in 2025.
