Dead Cells' Updates Delayed, Coming Early 2023

Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!

The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," have been pushed back. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date: February 18th, 2025. Both updates, already available on console and PC, will bring a wealth of new content to mobile players.

What's in store? "Clean Cut" introduces two exciting new weapons: the strategic Sewing Scissors and the powerful Giant Comb. A new character, the Tailor's Daughter, will allow players to customize their character's appearance.

"The End is Near" lives up to its name by adding challenging new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. Expect new skills and colorless mutations, including Demonic Strength, which significantly boosts damage while cursed.

A fitting finale to free updates

Playdigious deserves commendation for consistently delivering free content to Dead Cells players. While the announcement of the end of free updates initially drew criticism, the sheer volume of added content justifies their decision to focus on future projects.

Both "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near" will launch simultaneously on February 18th, 2025, for Android and iOS.
