How To Become & Defeat Godzilla in Fortnite Chapter 6

Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla stomps onto the Battle Royale Island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to control the iconic kaiju. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him.

Becoming Godzilla:

Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the map. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!

Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!

Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar (locates nearby players), the Mighty Stomp Attack (sends players flying), and the powerful Heat Ray. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!

Defeating Godzilla:

For the 99 players who didn't become Godzilla, the challenge begins! Epic Games has strategically placed Godzilla's weak points. Concentrated fire on these weak points will yield Godzilla Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges – crucial for mobility during this intense battle.

The Rail Gun makes a return, offering a high-damage output. High-rarity weapons are also highly effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla receives the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.

Even without becoming Godzilla, defeating him provides a rewarding experience and bragging rights.
