In a recent post on his official Bluesky account, Fox reported that the testing phase is moving forward with fewer bugs, though there's still a significant amount of work ahead. Notably, the testing hasn't yet extended to the PlayStation 5.

One of the most anticipated features is the ability to transfer saves from the demo versions of Chapters 1 and 2 to the main game on consoles. Fox mentioned that they've recently acquired the necessary technology to implement this feature and expressed optimism about its success, stating, "I hope it works!" This advancement promises a seamless transition for players who have already delved into the earlier chapters.

With the beta testing showing promising results, fans can look forward to the release of Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 in 2025, as confirmed by Fox himself. This timeline adds to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the game's next installment.
