Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet Launches in Rec Room

Gaming platform Rec Room is joining forces with Bungie to introduce Destiny 2 to a fresh audience through the innovative experience, Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet. This unique blend merges the immersive sci-fi universe of Destiny 2 with the community-driven environment of Rec Room, offering an exciting new way to engage with the beloved franchise.

Destiny 2, an FPS MMO crafted by Bungie, debuted in 2017. In this game, you embody a guardian wielding elemental powers, tasked with safeguarding humanity and exploring the solar system. Since its launch, the game has evolved through yearly expansions and quarterly seasons, each adding new narratives and content like raids and dungeons. The most recent season, The Final Shape, launched earlier this month, bringing fresh excitement to the Destiny community.

Starting July 11th, Rec Room users will have the opportunity to explore a meticulously recreated Destiny Tower, a landmark setting from Destiny 2. Available across consoles, PC, VR, and mobile platforms, this detailed recreation allows you to train as a Guardian and embark on epic adventures, all while connecting with fellow Destiny 2 enthusiasts.

The Guardian Gauntlet also introduces a range of cosmetics inspired by the three Destiny classes: Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. You can now acquire the Hunter set along with corresponding weapon skins, while the Titan and Warlock sets and their weapons will be available in the coming weeks.
