The upcoming Developer_Direct presentation, just two days away, appears to have suffered a leak regarding a highly anticipated title: DOOM: The Dark Ages. A major French gaming website, Gamekult, inadvertently revealed a May 15th release date in a prematurely published article, quickly deleted but not before being captured in their RSS feed.

This corroborates earlier reports from insider NateTheHate, who also predicted a May release for DOOM: The Dark Ages. The convergence of these two sources strongly suggests a May launch is highly probable.

Microsoft is expected to officially announce DOOM: The Dark Ages this Thursday during their Developer_Direct showcase. This medieval-themed prequel to the modern DOOM duology promises to maintain the series' signature brutal combat against the forces of Hell.
