First look: Farming Simulator comes to VR

Get ready for an even more immersive farming experience! Giants Software has officially announced Farming Simulator VR, a virtual reality game bringing the world of agriculture to life.

This "brand new" farming experience promises unparalleled realism. Players will independently manage every aspect of their farm, from planting and harvesting crops with realistic machinery to tending to greenhouse vegetables and maintaining their equipment. The goal? Build and expand a thriving virtual farm.

The announcement has been met with enthusiastic responses from fans, who envision the game as a unique learning tool. One burning question remains: what happens if you get too close to a working combine harvester?

Farming Simulator VR launches February 28th, exclusively for Meta Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S, and Quest Pro headsets.

Future virtual farmers can anticipate:

  • A complete agricultural cycle: planting, harvesting, packaging, and selling.
  • Greenhouse cultivation of diverse crops: tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, and more.
  • Authentic machinery from leading manufacturers: Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, and others.
  • Detailed machine maintenance and repair in your own workshop.
  • Enhanced realism: including pressure washing your equipment.
