March 2025 Community Day Preview: Fuecoco Takes Center Stage

Fuecoco Headlines March's Opening Community Day

Pokémon GO confirms Fuecoco as the star of March's inaugural Community Day, scheduled for February 11, 2025.

Trainers can encounter abundant Fuecoco spawns during the event window from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time on March 8, 2025, with boosted Shiny odds. Evolving Fuecoco into Skeledirge (via Crocalor) during or within one week post-event unlocks the powerful Charged Attack Blast Burn. Skeledirge can also permanently learn Torch Song without time restrictions.

A Special Background Timed Research offers trainers a seasonal-themed Fuecoco encounter and further increased Shiny rates. Complete these tasks by March 15, 2025, at 10:00 PM local time.

For $2.00, trainers can purchase exclusive Community Day Special Research featuring three seasonal Fuecoco encounters, Battle Passes, and Rare Candies. The ticket is giftable to Great Friends or higher.

Beloved Buddies Event Launches February 11, 2025

Dueling Paths: Candela vs. Arlo

The Beloved Buddies event introduces Dhelmise alongside a Timed Research challenge with branching paths. Trainers must choose between strengthening bonds with Team Valor's Candela or battling Team GO Rocket's Arlo.

Initial tasks reward Ultra Balls and encounters with Remoraid and Mantine before path selection. Each route offers distinct rewards:

Candela's Path: Earn Poffins, Stardust, and encounters with Luvdisc, Shellder, and Rapidash.

Arlo's Path: Receive similar items plus a Pocket Radar, with encounters featuring Cubone, Slowpoke, and Scizor.

Choose based on preferred rewards or character allegiance. Don't miss this limited-time event!
