Initially announced as a 3D tactical game during Girls' Frontline's second anniversary livestream on May 18, 2018, the game's global release has been highly anticipated.

After years of waiting, the global version is finally making headway. In addition to the new website, official global social media accounts have also been established. The Chinese version launched in December 2023, leaving international players eagerly awaiting their chance to play.
