Gorgon's Gameplay
Gorgon (2-cost, 3-power): "Ongoing: Your opponent’s cards that didn’t start in their deck cost 1 more (maximum 6)."
Gorgon directly counters decks relying on generated cards, like Arishem strategies and those utilizing swarms or card manipulation. However, cards like Mobius M. Mobius or Ongoing effect negators (Rogue, Enchantress) can neutralize his ability.
Laufey's Gameplay
Laufey (4-cost, 5-power): "On Reveal: Steal 1 Power from each other card here."
Laufey's power scales with the number of cards at the targeted location. With four opposing cards, she becomes a potent 13-power threat. Her synergy with Zabu allows for discounted plays, pairing well with cards like Diamondback and Ajax.
Uncle Ben's Gameplay
Uncle Ben (1-cost, 2-power): "When this card is destroyed, replace it with Spider-Man."
Uncle Ben acts as a 1-cost Spider-Man generator when paired with destroy effects (Carnage, Venom, Lady Deathstrike). He serves as a budget-friendly alternative to Bucky Barnes.
Top Decks Featuring Gorgon, Laufey, and Uncle Ben
These cards aren't game-changers on their own, except perhaps Laufey in affliction-based Ajax decks.

- Mystique
- Mister Fantastic
- Luke Cage
- Captain America
- Moonstone
- Anti-Venom (or Iron Lad)
- Iron Man
- Spectrum
(Moonstone and Anti-Venom/Iron Lad are Series 5 cards. Iron Lad is a suitable replacement for Anti-Venom.)
This deck leverages Ongoing effects with Moonstone and aims for discounted Iron Man/Mystique plays. Gorgon provides consistent disruption against generated cards.

- US Agent
- Luke Cage
- Diamondback
- Red Guardian
- Laufey
- Malekith
- Anti-Venom

(US Agent, Diamondback, Red Guardian, Malekith, Anti-Venom, and Ajax are Series 5 cards. Rocket Raccoon and Groot could replace Red Guardian, but are also Series 5.)
This deck aims for lane dominance using Ajax and supporting cards like US Agent and Diamondback. Laufey's power steal significantly boosts the overall board state.
Uncle Ben Deck:
- The Hood
- Uncle Ben
- Yondu
- Cable
- Iron Patriot
- Killmonger
- Baron Zemo
- Gladiator
- Shang-Chi

This deck focuses on deck disruption, utilizing Killmonger, Shang-Chi, and Lady Deathstrike to trigger Uncle Ben's effect and further disrupt the opponent's strategy.
Should You Grind for These Cards in Sanctum Showdown?
Acquiring all three cards requires a significant charm investment (3600). Laufey offers the most deck-building potential, particularly for affliction-focused players. Otherwise, focusing on Series 4 and 5 cards through Sanctum Showdown might yield better results.
