The new GTA 6 trailer has dropped, and if you missed it, we've analyzed all the secrets and details it contains. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until May 26, 2026, to dive into Lucia and Jason's story. While we're waiting, let's take a nostalgic journey through all the Rockstar games we've loved over the years and rank them just for fun!

Rockstar has been a powerhouse in gaming since 1998, delivering over 30 titles including iconic series like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and Manhunt. But which game reigns supreme? For this list, we're focusing solely on games developed by Rockstar, excluding titles like LA Noire or Max Payne 2, which they published but did not develop. I've ranked these games based on my personal enjoyment using an IGN Tier List. Here's a glimpse at my ranking:

Red Dead Redemption 2 tops my list as the ultimate S-tier game, a title that's not only my favorite but also a masterpiece in the cinematic open-world genre. It's joined by its predecessor and GTA 5, both of which have set new standards in gaming. I also have a special fondness for Max Payne 3 with its iconic bullet time mechanics, and GTA San Andreas, which I played far too young. At the other end of the spectrum, in the D-tier, you'll find games like Austin Powers: Oh, Behave! and Welcome to My Underground Lair!—titles that few would willingly revisit.
