Gunblade and Bridge Map Added in Rivals Update 9; Ranked Mode Coming Soon

The thrilling first-person shooter PvP Roblox experience, Rivals, has just rolled out Update 9, bringing fresh excitement with the innovative Gunblade weapon and the new Bridge map. Developer Nosniy Games has detailed these additions in the patch notes released today, offering a concise yet impactful update that, while smaller than recent ones, is sure to keep players engaged.

Known for its compelling FPS gameplay and diverse weaponry, Rivals welcomes the Gunblade with open arms. This versatile weapon combines the power of a ranged rifle with the slashing capabilities of a giant blade, perfect for catching opponents off guard during intense battles. The new Bridge map complements this addition by setting the stage for close-quarters combat. Located in Seoul and crafted by creator @GreatGuyBoom, this map features a suspended, concrete environment with minimal cover, forcing players into immediate action.

While the patch notes for Rivals Update 9 do not include specific bug fixes, balance changes, or quality-of-life improvements, Nosniy Games made a strategic choice to focus solely on the new map and weapon. The update did, however, make minor modifications to the skins of the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, along with renaming a few other items. The developers have promised that the next major content update will introduce the highly anticipated Ranked feature.

"We hear all of your feedback and want to reassure you all that every necessary & additional changes/improvements will be made in time for Ranked," the team stated, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing the game based on player input.

The Winter Spotlight has been replaced with a brand new set of challenges! Complete tasks on the new Bridge map to earn keys and the limited-time Bungeoppang charm!

OTHER

The Demon Shorty & Demon Uzi skins have been slightly modified. The Hexxed Flare Gun skin, Hexxed Candle skin, and Hexxed wrap have been renamed to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, & Vexed, respectively.
