Hideo Kojima shares some good news about Death Stranding 2 development

Recent social media posts from Hideo Kojima reveal that the Japanese voice actors for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach have finished recording their lines. Although the process isn't entirely complete, Kojima indicated that the end is near. The actors recently completed a crucial scene featuring six main characters, prompting a celebratory gathering and group photos. Kojima expressed bittersweet feelings about concluding this phase of the project, but expressed excitement for future collaborations.

Further details regarding Death Stranding 2 are promised during SXSW 2025 on March 10th. Whether or not a release date will be announced at that time remains unconfirmed.
