Pokémon Pocket's January Wonder Pick event offers two new Promo-A cards: Charmander (P-A 032) and Squirtle (P-A 033), boasting updated artwork while retaining original stats and moves. This guide covers both event phases, missions, rewards, and helpful tips.

January Wonder Pick Event Part 1: Charmander & Squirtle

• Dates: January 6th (10:00 PM) - January 20th (9:59 PM) Local Time
• Focus: Acquiring Charmander (P-A 032) and Squirtle (P-A 033) Promo-A cards.

How to Obtain Promo-A Cards

The event features two types of Wonder Picks:

• Bonus Wonder Picks: Free picks offering a chance at either Promo-A Charmander or Squirtle (or their regular variants), plus Wonder Hourglasses or Event Shop Tickets. A 20% chance of appearing with each Wonder Pick.
• Rare Wonder Picks: A 2.5% chance to appear, guaranteeing one of the Promo-A cards. The number of slots each card occupies is random (1-4), affecting your odds (25% - 80%).

Part 1 Missions and Blastoise-Themed Rewards

Complete these five missions to earn Event Shop Tickets (Blastoise):

Nine tickets unlock all three Part 1 accessories:

January Wonder Pick Event Part 2: Blastoise Accessories

• Dates: January 15th - January 21st
• Focus: Earning Event Shop Tickets for Blastoise-themed accessories. No new Promo-A cards.

Part 2 Missions and Rewards

Ten new missions reward additional Event Shop Tickets (up to 22):

• Blastoise (Icon)
• Blastoise (Coin)

Event Tips and Strategies

• Ticket Carryover: Tickets remain until January 29th. (31 tickets needed for all items.)
• No Notifications: Check for Bonus and Rare Picks regularly (every 30-60 minutes).
• All Picks Count: Any Wonder Pick contributes to mission progress.
• Prioritize Bonus Picks: Focus on free Bonus Picks for Promo-A cards; use Rare Picks strategically near the end if needed.
