Driven by the ensuing turmoil, Hou embarks on a quest for peace, accompanied by Hisui, his servant with a mysterious emotional suppression; Shirin, his childhood friend known for her strong sense of justice; and Shapur, a former general now serving as a butler.

While the announcement of Suikoden STAR LEAP has stirred excitement, it's not without its critics. Dedicated Suikoden fans, longing for a direct continuation of the series, are met instead with a gacha game, sparking mixed reactions within the community.
