Lara Croft: Guardian of Light Now on Android

Lara Croft is back in action, and Feral Interactive has now officially brought Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light to Android devices. This release offers fans a fresh way to dive into the isometric tomb-raiding adventure crafted by Crystal Dynamics, where you can blast through undead enemies and tackle ancient puzzles.

Originally launched in 2010, the game's standout feature remains its co-op gameplay, setting it apart from other entries in the Tomb Raider series. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a non-linear, arcade-inspired action adventure that promises a thrilling experience.

This Time, the Stakes Are High

In the game, the world teeters on the brink of eternal darkness. The only hope for civilization lies with Lara Croft. Wielding her iconic dual pistols, she must dodge, grapple, and outsmart an army of the undead to prevent total doom. Her ultimate objective? To confront and defeat Xolotl, the Aztec god of death.

Players can enjoy this adventure solo or team up with a friend in online co-op mode, thanks to the game's twin-stick shooter mechanics. One of the best aspects of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is its cross-platform play, allowing iOS and Android users to join forces seamlessly.

To celebrate the Android launch, Feral Interactive has released a new trailer, which you can watch right here:

This Mobile Release Doesn’t Skimp on Content

The Android version of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light includes all fourteen levels from the original game, along with the three DLC packs offered for free. This means players have access to a plethora of hidden collectibles, high-score challenges, and additional weapons and stat-boosting artifacts.

For those concerned about controls, this version allows you to customize the touchscreen controls or connect a gamepad for a more traditional gaming experience. The game is now available on the Google Play Store for $9.99. If you're intrigued, be sure to check it out.
