Larian Reveals New Subclasses for Baldur's Gate 3

While many fans believed Patch 7 would mark the end of major updates for Baldur's Gate 3, Larian Studios has exciting news: another substantial update is scheduled for 2025. This update promises to enhance the game with features such as crossplay support, a photo mode, and the introduction of 12 new subclasses, each with unique mechanics that will enrich the gameplay experience.

Moreover, the use of Instant Sobriety on an intoxicated target inflicts both physical and mental damage, adding a strategic layer to encounters.

Swarmkeeper Ranger

The Swarmkeeper Ranger taps into the power of nature by forming symbiotic relationships with swarms of creatures. These swarms not only shield the ranger from harm but also aid in teleportation. In combat, the ranger can deploy three distinct types of swarms: electric jellyfish clusters that shock opponents, blinding moth clouds that obscure vision, and stinging bee legions that can knock back enemies failing a strength check by an impressive 4.5 meters.
