LEGO has unveiled its most ambitious Jurassic World set to date: a colossal T-rex skeleton that measures over three feet in length. This impressive set comes complete with minifigures of Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, iconic characters from the original Jurassic Park film where the skeleton is famously displayed in the visitor center. Priced at $249.99, the set will be available starting March 12 for LEGO Insiders (sign up for free here) and March 15 for all other fans at the LEGO Store.

Designed for the 18+ age group, this set is more about display than play, featuring advanced building techniques that might challenge younger builders. While images might not fully convey its impressive scale, the included minifigures of Dr. Grant and Dr. Sattler help give a sense of its grandeur. The T-rex skeleton's skull shares similarities with the currently available LEGO T-rex skull set, which my son built and found to be stunning. The addition of the full skeleton in this new set significantly enhances its visual impact.
