What are Luma Eggs?

Luma Eggs are collectible items scattered throughout Luma Island. Incubating these eggs reveals Luma creatures, helpful additions to your farm and adventures. The type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of surprise to your discoveries.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are primarily found in two locations: the island's Ruins and behind Shrine doors. Each Ruin and Shrine typically holds a single egg. The number of eggs available increases as you unlock new areas:

Ruin eggs are located deep within each Ruin's chambers, requiring thorough exploration. Shrine doors, in contrast, need Tepid Offering Crystals to unlock, often found in challenging locations.

Hatching Luma Eggs

Once collected, Mysterious Eggs need hatching. This usually triggers a quest, though the timing varies depending on your profession. You'll need a Luma Incubator, purchased from Balthazar's shop for 500 coins. Crafting requires:

Combine Luma Life (crafted using island essences) with a Mysterious Egg in the Incubator. Unhatched Luma appear as "Mysterious Creature" until hatching, after which petting builds your relationship.
