Marvel Snap\'s newest season, Masters of the Arcane, is out now

Marvel Snap's Newest Season Is Here: Masters of the Arcane

• Clea, Kid Omega, Morgan Le Fay, and Dread Dormammu Make Their Debut
• New Locations, Shop Takeovers, and a Twist on a Fan Favorite with High Voltage: Overdrive

Whether it's Doctor Strange or Ghost Rider, Marvel boasts an abundance of mystically inclined characters. However, beyond these prominent names lies a vast array of others waiting to be discovered, all arriving in the latest season of Marvel Snap, titled "Masters of the Arcane," now live!

As anticipated, the centerpiece of "Masters of the Arcane" is an impressive lineup of magical heroes and villains from Marvel lore. This includes Merlin (who proves to be less than amiable in this universe), Morgan Le Fay, Nicholas Scratch, Jennifer Kale, The Ancient One, Nightmare, and everyone's least favorite flame-headed hellraiser, Dormammu.

Of course, the roster doesn't stop there. Doctor Strange's enigmatic love interest, Clea, joins the battle alongside Kid Omega and Cobra (who is likely just thrilled to be included). These new cards will become available starting today through July 1st, with Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay debuting immediately.

This season introduces even more excitement with a limited-time mode called "High Voltage: Overdrive," running from June 16th to July 25th. This innovative twist on the popular High Voltage mode triggers reactor explosions after five charge cards are played, creating unpredictable events that add fresh dynamics to every match. It's highly recommended to try this mode, especially since Kid Omega and Cobra can be earned through specific missions.

Did we mention two brand-new locations—Camelot and the Astral Plane? Plus, there will be a series of shop takeovers throughout June featuring artwork from talented artists like Pandart Studio and Dan Hipp. You could certainly call this event truly magical.
