Marvel Unveils Isophyne, an All-New Character in Contest of Champions

Kabam introduces Isophyne, a brand-new original character, to Marvel Contest of Champions. Her design evokes the film Avatar, incorporating copper-toned metallic accents.

Isophyne's Unique Gameplay

Isophyne's arrival shakes up the Contest of Champions arena. Unlike other champions who build power for special moves, Isophyne's "Fractured Powerbar" mechanic allows for flexible special attack combinations. She can chain multiple Special 1s, for example, offering unpredictable combat strategies.

Mysterious Origins

Isophyne's backstory is shrouded in mystery, linked to the Founders, a group whose secrets will be revealed in 2025. For now, players can appreciate her striking appearance.

Kabam's 10th Anniversary Celebrations

This new character release coincides with Marvel Contest of Champions' 10th anniversary. Kabam is unveiling a series of surprises throughout 2024 and into 2025. October's surprises included Glorious Guardian Reworks, Alliance Super Season, and 60 FPS gameplay. November promises four more exciting reveals.
