Minecraft Live 2025 Unveils Vibrant Visuals and Flying Happy Ghast

With care, the Ghastling can grow into a Happy Ghast, a friendly mob variant that players can harness to fly, accommodating up to four players at once. A new Locator Bar at the bottom of the screen will help players find their friends, making group adventures smoother, especially while flying on a Happy Ghast. Adding to the excitement, Mojang shared an exclusive clip from the upcoming "A Minecraft Movie" and announced an in-game movie-themed live event. Starting on March 25 and running through April 7, players can dive into Midport Village to join Steve and his movie companions in defending the village from piglin attacks through three engaging mini-games. Completing all challenges during the event will reward players with the coveted Yearn cape.

Mojang also shared insights from their offices in Sweden, discussing their stance on not developing a Minecraft 2, keeping the game non-free-to-play, and their decision to steer clear of generative AI in game development.
