Project NET: A Girls’ Frontline Legacy

Initially announced on December 27, 2024, by Sunborn Network (the creators of Girls’ Frontline), Project NET underwent its first localized SEA test from January 9th to 16th, 2025, encompassing Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Building upon the success of the Girls’ Frontline franchise (launched in 2016), which includes a popular strategy RPG gacha game, an anime series, and other titles, Project NET promises a familiar aesthetic and characters for fans. The recent release of Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium (December 5, 2024) further solidifies the franchise's ongoing popularity.

While a release date for Project NET remains unannounced, the game is currently planned for iOS and Android, based on the devices used in its initial test.
