A The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild speedrunner achieved an extraordinary feat at the Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in Japan, where playtime was limited to just 10 minutes.
As reported by VGC, Japanese content creator Ikaboze managed this impressive performance using an existing save file, without prior knowledge of the equipment Link had available. Ikaboze decided to "defeat the final boss while tied up completely naked and with all my equipment removed," and launched a save that led directly to the final confrontation with Ganon. In just seven minutes, Ganon was defeated, prompting spontaneous applause from onlookers.

The achievement was particularly notable because Ikaboze was using an unfamiliar controller and couldn't hear the game over the convention hall's noise.
“I was surprised by how many people had gathered,” Ikaboze remarked. “Staff were even filming on their smartphones. This was the first time anyone had completed the Breath of the Wild demo, and staff congratulated me."
The Nintendo Switch 2 Enhanced Edition of Breath of the Wild boasts improved visuals and performance, achievements, and integration with the new "Zelda Notes" service on the Nintendo Switch Online app. Existing owners of Breath of the Wild on the original Switch can upgrade to these features with a $10 "upgrade pack." Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom upgrade packs are available at no additional cost for Nintendo Switch Online and Expansion Pack subscribers.
