Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan are bringing the hit anime Overlord to mobile with the upcoming global release of Lord of Nazarick, an official turn-based RPG.
Set for release on Android devices this December 2024, Lord of Nazarick arrives alongside the theatrical release of Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom in the U.S. and Canada this fall. While Crunchyroll holds select rights for EMEA and Latin America, release dates for those regions are yet to be announced. This free-to-play game is currently available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Features of Lord of Nazarick
Inspired by the anime’s story of Momonga, the salaryman trapped in the virtual world of Yggdrasil, Lord of Nazarick lets players experience fresh, canon scenarios as the Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown. Gameplay features dynamic roguelite dungeons, challenging boss battles, and engaging mini-games.
Recruit over 50 characters from the anime, including the guardians and Pleiades, and explore iconic locations like the Great Tomb of Nazarick and Carne Village. Cooperative gameplay allows teaming up with friends or joining alliances, while a competitive PVP mode is also included.
