After eagerly awaiting its full release, Peglin, the Pachinko Roguelike, has finally hit version 1.0 across Android, iOS, and PC platforms. Developed and published by Red Nexus Games, this game has been a hit in early access for over a year, and now, fans can experience the complete version.
So, what makes Peglin so enjoyable? The game seamlessly combines turn-based gameplay with Pachinko mechanics and rogue-like elements, creating a unique experience that feels reminiscent of Peggle and Slay the Spire. Players can explore four distinct goblin classes: Peglin, Balladin, Roundrel, and Spinventor, starting with the charming green goblin, Peglin, and unlocking the others as they progress.
In Peglin, you're a goblin tired of dragons stealing your gold, so you set out on a quest for revenge, blasting through levels with orbs amidst bouncing pegs, all rendered in delightful pixel-art style.
What does Peglin 1.0 bring to the table? A whole lot! The final Cruciball level, stages 17 to 20, are now accessible. Minibosses are tougher, regular battles can feature additional enemies, and bosses have some new tricks up their sleeves. A new forest miniboss, the Slime Hive, summons Slimedrops, adding to the challenge.
The update introduces a rare relic, the Crystal Catalyst, which amplifies Spinfection damage. Alongside, there are numerous balance adjustments and quality-of-life enhancements. A notable change is the reshuffling peg board during the fight against Thesaurosus, ensuring players aren't stuck with a poor layout throughout the battle.
Now that Peglin 1.0 is here, dive into the full experience as you battle through forests, fortresses, and dragon lairs. You can find Peglin on the Google Play Store, so don't miss out on this exciting release!
