Director Ji-Won Choi recently penned a heartfelt message to fans of Lies of P, celebrating the game's first anniversary and offering exciting news about upcoming content. The letter serves as both a thank you to the community and a tantalizing preview of what's to come for the steampunk Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike.

Expanding the World of Lies of P

Choi expressed gratitude for the enthusiastic reception of Lies of P, highlighting the team's dedication to developing the upcoming DLC amidst the challenges of a Korean summer. He emphasized the DLC's goal: building upon the base game's strengths while addressing previously identified issues. The development team aims to "do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow," Choi stated. He also extended his appreciation to Team NOUGH and ROUND8 Studio.

The most significant reveal? A sneak peek at the DLC! Concept art depicts P in a snowy, desolate location, gazing at a foreboding lighthouse. The image hints at a new, challenging chapter in P's journey. Accompanying the art is a new musical piece from the DLC's soundtrack, "Lisrim," originally composed in 2022 by onoken. A music video featuring a clockwork-weapon-wielding character rescuing a captive girl further enhances the atmosphere.

DLC Release and Beyond

While a precise release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 Earnings Results indicate a launch sometime during the second half of 2024. The DLC will be released alongside four other NEOWIZ titles: The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy, Cats & Soup: Malang Town, Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe, and Project IG.

Previously released concept art showcased two distinct environments: a towering industrial complex and a treacherous shipwreck, further building anticipation. Choi assures fans that their excitement will be rewarded, promising a DLC that will exceed expectations. And the best news? This DLC is only the beginning; a full sequel is in development!
